About Us

Built on Recovery

The spirit of recovery has resided within the walls of Winston Place for over two decades. When Chuck and Holly purchased the home in 1999 they continued the tradition of recovery by providing their home as a central gathering place for fellowship, sponsorship and step work, events, and intimate gatherings. Today Winston Place is dedicated to the memory of Holly Paetz. She passed away in 2021 with 35 years clean. This program of recovery was inspired by her desire and commitment to helping others find a new way to live.

History

With decades of experience working in addiction recovery and treatment, the Leadership of Winston Place understands the value of focusing on the whole person. We have a strong emphasis on the basics of recovery, without deciding for anyone what their journey should look like. With the hallmark of our “person centered” focus, we look to help our residents build their own foundations in the recovery process.

Our goal is to create the highest bar of comfort available in our 4300′ space, while also helping to set the tone for a recovery lifestyle. Complemented with outdoor living spaces, pool, sauna, and on-site gym, Winston place offers more than just a place to lay your head, it offers a space for healing and growth. We offer in-home guidance from Certified Peer Recovery Specialists as well as lessons in nutrition, mindfulness, yoga, and fitness.

In the spirit of transitional living, we partner within the community to create a sustainable dynamic between our residents and each element of their continuing care. Each individual comes to us with their own needs, goals, and hopes- it is our ultimate goal to help build the bridge from what was, to all that can be.
